Skillet Smoked Sausage and Rice

This simple stove top meal is perfect for dinner year round!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups rice pre-soaked and cooked
  • 1 lb smoked sausage uncured and sliced
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 cup green pepper diced (optional)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes no salt added
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp oregano

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients into skillet bring to a simmer.
  • Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until onions have gotten softer.
