Need an easy homemade spaghetti sauce recipe that you can fix quickly! Well, here it is!
This recipe was one that was actually created out of necessity. I wanted to make spaghetti and meat sauce but didn’t quite know what to do about the sauce. The problem was that I thought I had some organic spaghetti sauce in the cupboard. I was absolutely, positively sure that I had some. And I was already well on the way to browning my ground beef and sauteing vegetables for my delightful spaghetti when I realized that I was wrong. I did NOT have any spaghetti sauce in the cupboard! So I had to get a little creative! Yikes! What to do? I knew that I did not want to have to take the time to run to the store, because frankly, I was hungry! I needed a quick solution. So I went to the cupboard and found that I did have the ingredients to make a quick, homemade sauce, and I pulled them out and started mixing. It turned out great! One of the best parts was that this sauce was actually pretty inexpensive to make as well….bonus!
Try it with meatballs
This recipe is great to use with some browned pastured raised ground beef. I really love making homemade meatballs too with this and they are fantastic! Â Add some fresh veggies to the sauce and top with a little fresh Parmesan or Romano cheese. I have to say that this recipe was so fast, easy and economical that I will not be buying the more expensive organic jar sauce anymore. This is my new pasta sauce! If you don’t like to used canned tomatoes (which is actually one of the few canned things I do still use), then you can use homemade versions of these tomato products!

Thanks so very much for this recipe! I have thought about making my own sauce for some time now but never did it. This one looks like something I would have EVENTUALLY put together! May make a really big batch and can some!
You’re so welcome! That recipe has saved me a few times! Enjoy!
